However hard I tried to read the truth and comfort offered in God's word, I just could not. get. it. in. my. head. I was waiting for God to change my circumstances but instead He was waiting to change my heart.
As disciples of Jesus we are called to allow tomorrow to inform the decisions of today, but return to the urgent business of the living present, in the moment.
How to let Him do the heavy lifting.
Don't put words in God's mouth. It would be a mistake to equate your soul’s purpose with personal fulfillment you get from your job.
