Our stories do not end with dying from cancer – In Memory of Kara Tippetts

I don’t know if you have heard of Kara Tippetts, but she wrote an open letter to Brittany Maynard who chose assisted suicide, as a fellow sufferer of terminal cancer

After a long struggle, Kara went to be with the Lord yesterday, March 22. I found this great interview with her. She was full of joy even in the brokenness. Her message to the healthy is “be a student of God’s word”. Pour over it, let it settle in your heart, be devoted and intentional in growing your faith.If one day you have no strength to study or read scripture, it will already be within you, “keeping” you.

Although I never met her I am grateful to have known of her. Her blog continues to inspire and invigorate us as we walk through the stories God has written for us.
