Hi friends,
A very lovely Saturday to you all! It’s been a long hot and drought-y summer here in southern California, but my heart is absolutely embracing the coming of fall and winter. I’ve even had like 5 pumpkin spice lattes this week just to prove that it is September. The weather still hasn’t gotten the message.
And speaking of impending change, as you can see, things are a little different over here. Before going any further, I wanted to take a moment to reveal what’s been going on behind the scenes of Pure Disciple, formerly known as Tea & Testimony.
An uneasy thought has been sticking me in the side for a very long time. If you believe your calling is to write for the kingdom of God, why aren’t you taking this more seriously?
Seeing as my blog goal has always been for the “building up of the saints”, I finally decided to get down to business and do some virtual organizing. Moving forward, I’ll be writing on spiritual growth, bible studies, and reviewing Christian books. I changed the name to Pure Disciple because it’s easier to remember and offers a better picture of our end goal – to be found blameless before the throne.
So, welcome to my improved blog! I’m so looking forward to the future of Pure Disciple and I hope it can be a source of inspiration and encouragement.
