God’s love for me is an anchor for the soul. It’s a safety harness, a net, a rope, a strong refuge. Fear’s role in our natural lives may loom large, but it will never have the last word. Since nothing can possibly separate us from the love of god, there is literally nothing to fear. My reputation may be hurt, my possessions taken away, my body killed, but nothing may ever touch my soul which is so precious to God because of his love for me.
Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?
